In 2019, Savills issued their 5-yearly forecast for mainstream residential properties trends in the UK. But who could have predicted Covid and its impacts? Well, besides Bill Gates.
For the rest of us who are not Bill Gates or super scientists, and that includes the mighty Savills, we have to adapt. Post-Covid, Savills have since issued their Revised 5-year forecast. You can read about it here.
So how different is it from the previous one? Well, taking averages over a 5-year span (including the expected dip this year,) they say it wasn't far off.
